Security Training: Going Above-and-Beyond the Standard
Armed Guard Private Security Inc's Security Officers go above and beyond the minimum state required training. Whether fully armed, unarmed with less than lethal weapons or completely unarmed, we examine each prospective employee's training certifications/records to ensure complete compliance with section 643(b) of the California Code of Regulations.
Armed Guard Private Security, Inc understands that an officer carrying a weapon of any kind on our client's property carries a liability risk. To ensure we mitigate liability, we require that every officer registers and demonstrates proficiency before they are allowed to carry the weapon on duty.
Many of our officers receive their security guard training and weapons courses free of charge, through one of our many training sponsorship programs.
Our training doesn't stop there, Armed Guard Private Security, Inc. ensures that each officer receives annual continuing education on their security guard training, as well as re-certification for each of their weapons.
Armed Guard Private Security Inc. supervisors spot check our officers during the performance of their duties checking to ensure the officer is in possession of all of his/her state required permits, is only carrying authorized and company registered weapons, and are carrying their valid government ID.
Body Worn Cameras
All Armed Security Officers are required to wear their department issued Body Worn Cameras and activate the camera prior to the contact with any member of the public. These cameras are real cameras and of equal or better quality than most law enforcement agencies.
The cameras track the officers location, have 2k resolution and the officer is required to download check the Body Worn Camera in at the beginning and the end of each shift so the footage can be stored pursuant to the organization retention policies.
There are many benefits from ensuring that each and everyone of our officers are equipped with the BWC. We routinely use the contacts made from officers in the field to help better train officers with dealing with the public. Furthermore, it's an added layer of protection for our client and assurance for law enforcement that we acted correctly.
